Cardinal Sarah endorses Primal Loss

This came. I almost fainted. Totally unexpected.

May God bless Robert Cardinal Sarah for his kind endorsement of Primal Loss: The Now-Adult Children of Divorce Speak, and for his prayers for my family (which pretty much sent me over). I just love this man.

Please, please, pray for the good Cardinal. He is one of the holiest men alive, in my estimation, and I know I'm not alone in that thought.

Indeed one of the most wise and holy men of these times. I'm so impressed. God bless you for addressing such a painful and difficult topic. God bless you!

  3. He's my hope for the next Pope, for sure! He is one of the greatest men in the Church today. Always in my prayers. BTW, I loved your book, Raising Chaste Catholic Men. Very encouraging for me, as a single mom.

  5. The inspiring Cardinal Sarah and Bishop Naumann will hopefully inspire other prelates and seminary professors to read Leila Miller's important unbiased objective testimony of the 70 adult victims of divorce. If they do their hearts will be moved. As a result, I predict our US Seminary faculties will beef up their training of our priests to save marriages, rather than referring the spouses left-behind to jet for the local tribunal for an ez nullity decree.(Yes this happens scandalously often and most divorces are initiated by only one party) 2. Many of our clergy will say we can't make people stay married. Should we then stop making people stop having abortions also? I request that all dioceses establish an emergency response team to minister to both parties of a marital breakdown, immediately upon notification; ceasing to rely on the initiative of the parties to participate in the effective Retroivaille Program to save their marriages. More money and personnel need to be invested in this needed action, for the 28% of divorce rate of our Catholics is unnecessarily high and too much fallout results in the fate of the children traumatized by so many, often unnecessary parental split-ups. 6. Hi Leila, I've just stumbled upon your blog and totally agree with you about Robert Cardinal Sarah. I have recently finished reading "God or Nothing" and am now at the end of "The Power of Silence". Highly recommended. I too belong to the those of "Primal Loss". An interesting book - although I'm not sure if it may be too painful to read. Thanks for speaking up.

  7. Bernice, thank you! I think you should give it a read. And, we have a secret FB group for only the adult children of divorce, where you can speak freely. Let me know if you would like in.
