Personal prayer request

My dear cousin, who is also one of my best friends, has just been diagnosed with lung cancer in both lungs, spread to the liver. She is a non-smoker.

This beautiful young woman is a devout Catholic, and the single mother to three school-aged children. It is a complete shock. I am asking everyone who reads this to please storm heaven for her. Bring out the big intercessors if you have them. I cannot thank you enough.

  11. Oh, Leila, I am so sorry! Your dear cousin and her family are in my prayers - FERVENTLY! Her young children need her. It is so hard when these challenges hit a family with only one parent. I am also praying for the extended family and her friends who will hopefully be able to step up and help this family through this. Godspeed.

  12. That is so sad. My mother left four children and it was tough even with a father. This is very upsetting.

  20. Praying. I feel like this year, the "pink Sunday" of Advent was NOT their joyful Sunday. :( So much hard news.

  21. Give her a Miraculous Medal to wear and say this prayer daily. The Memorare: Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly to you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you do I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in your mercy hear and answer them. Amen.
